Ilie (Iulian Postelnicu) is a policeman in a village where corruption is a way of life for its inhabitants. Following a series of violent events that he witnesses, as well as accumulating tensions, the man finds himself forced to make important decisions at work and in his personal life.
Men of Deeds is a film about a man disconnected from reality, living in an ideal world constructed by himself. I believe that each of us has found ourselves in a similar situation at some point, but in the case of our “hero”, the encounter with reality is abrupt, violent, and sometimes even comical, says director Paul Negoescu.
