Los Labios tells the story of three women working for the Argentinean social services as helpers in the ruins of a hospital. Initially difficult, their relationships become more peaceful over the course of this imposed cohabitation. It is a story about human beings that the two directors have imagined in the form of a dream: “the story of these women could also be part of a dream, a memory, a legend about those who decide to be part of the world.” After Carancho (Diego Lerman), screened yesterday, Los Labios is the second Argentinean feature film presented in Un Certain Regard.
